Google quietly limits the number of files users can create and save in Drive

Google Drive now has a restriction on the amount of files users can create and store. According to sources, Google Drive customers are now only permitted to create a total of five million files. According to Google spokesperson Ross Richendrfer, this most recent modification aims to ensure "strong performance and dependability" while also guarding against potential system abuse. Users will be notified when they have hit their limit, and they may contact Google support if they have any problems, claims Richendrfer. Five million files may seem like a lot for one user to upload, but other people have uploaded more than that.
